Bexleyheath High Street Awards Launching to Celebrate Local Businesses

The Bexleyheath High Street Awards have returned to celebrate the achievements of local businesses in the town centre area. This initiative aims to promote the high street and showcase the variety of businesses and services available in the community.

The awards are being organised by the Bexleyheath Business Improvement District (BID), in partnership with the London Borough of Bexley. The BID is a not-for-profit organisation that works to improve the trading environment in Bexleyheath by providing a range of services to local businesses.

The awards will recognise the best independent retailers, food and drink outlets, professional services, and hospitality businesses in Bexleyheath. There will also be a People's Choice award, where residents and visitors can vote for their favourite business.

Nominations for the awards are open to any business located on Bexleyheath High Street, Broadway or adjacent side streets. The deadline for entries is 28th February 2023. A judging panel consisting of local business leaders, representatives from the London Borough of Bexley, and other community stakeholders will decide the winners.

The awards ceremony is scheduled to take place in April 2023, hosted by Signature | Dining by Pure. The BID hopes that this initiative will encourage more people to visit and shop locally, supporting the growth of the high street and the local economy.
