Poppy Appeal Launch 2022 - In Bexleyheath Town Centre

The brave and fallen of Bexleyheath and surrounding areas will be remembered during the launch of the 2022 Poppy Appeal.

The Poppy Appeal is launched towards the end of October every year and runs until Remembrance Sunday, which this year falls on Sunday the 13th of November.

In partnership with the Royal British Legion Welling and Bexleyheath Branch, Bexleyheath Town Centre hosts a day of activities that allows residents and visitors to come together with local forces and historical groups.

What's on?

On Saturday, 29th October, our community will be coming together to raise money for the wonderful work of the Royal British Legion.

There will be a short service at the garden of remembrance at Christ Church at 11am.

After the service, we will head into the Town Centre and enjoy a number of visitor attractions in the town centre - including the return of our replica Spitfire!
