WHAT IS BEXLEY BUSINESS & EMPLOYMENT (BBE)?

We are a team of people working for London Borough of Bexley who are dedicated to supporting local businesses, growing Bexley’s economy and helping our residents reach their potential through employment.  How do we do this?

• We operate high-quality business and employability services that are responsive and flexible to the changing needs of our businesses and residents.

• For Bexley businesses and businesses in surrounding boroughs, we offer an ‘end to end’ free recruitment service to fill vacancies.

• Our E-business support programme is available for free to help your business get online, improve your social media presence, and start or grow your website 

• We provide support and information regarding business grants, licensing, networking, premises, co-working space and on other business-relevant Council services.  We support established businesses to grow through advice, signposting and networking opportunities.

• We are supporting town centres, Business Improvement Districts and town centre partnerships with advice and signposting. We work with partners and funders to future-proof our high streets and town centres by trialling innovative new uses to boost capacity, improving the overall shopping and visitor experience.

• We promote inward investment and highlight that Bexley is a great place to do business

• We seek external funding opportunities to help meet key priorities and make the Bexley local economy even better.
